As the challenges of Covid lingered, impacting the livelihoods of over 40 Yakshagana artists, the Mangalore unit of Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation became a source of support. Providing practical help in the form of substantial food kits, each containing 25kg of rice and 18 essential groceries, the Foundation, along with Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, aimed to ease the difficulties faced by these artists. This initiative wasn’t just about charity; it represented the ongoing commitment of the Foundation. Their generosity extended to over 2000 families across six districts. In the face of adversity, the Patla Foundation continued its support, ensuring that the lives of those contributing to Yakshagana remained uninterrupted.
