Patla Yakshashraya House

A Tale of Hope and Community Resilience for Devappa Gowda”

For 25 years, Devappa Gowda dedicated his life to the magic of Kateelu Mela, working humbly in the green room. Yet, his home, worn by time, succumbed to wind and rain. But from the ruins rose a story of compassion. The Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation, fueled by the love of local villagers and its Mudipu Branch, took swift action. In just four months, they transformed despair into hope, reconstructing Devappa’s dwelling. It was more than bricks and mortar; it was the Foundation’s first testament of kindness. As the sun touched the walls of the newfound sanctuary, it wasn’t just a house that stood tall. It was a symbol of a community’s resilience and the human spirit’s unyielding strength. In the presence of Aikala Harish Shetty, Santoshkumar Rai Bolyar, and esteemed dignitaries, the house was not just inaugurated – it was blessed by Shree of Odiyuru. In that moment, a village became a home, and hope echoed in every corner.
