Rebuilding Dreams with Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation
Katukukke Koragappa Nayka, a dedicated Bhagavata of The Kateelu Mela, faced a tough road when paralysis struck. Serving for a remarkable 48 years, his simple yet cherished dream was to have a home. Enter the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation, a swift force of kindness. With a heartwarming commitment, the foundation crafted Koragappa’s second chance at a home, marking its second construction. Manila Swamiji, Kuntaru Ravish Tantri, Patla Sathish Shetty, and respected figures graced the inauguration. The entire village joined this emotional celebration, witnessing the senior artist step into a freshly built haven. Amidst the joy, Koragappa expressed his gratitude, highlighting the rarity of someone remembering an artist from a bygone era. In a world where stars receive adoration, the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation showed that every artist, regardless of time, deserves a chance at brighter days.
A New Home for Adkasthala Purandara Shetty
Adkasthala Purandara Shetty, a respected Yakshagana artist, found himself facing serious financial troubles. Having devoted his talents to both Kateelu Mela and Sunkadakatte Mela, his residence in Kunjatbail was a humble thatched hut. Witnessing his plight, the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation swiftly stepped in, taking action to build him a new house within a few short months.
