Student Scholarship

Over the past eight years, the Patla Foundation has instituted a commendable scholarship program, providing a financial boost of ₹2,000 annually to the children of Yakshagana artistes pursuing education in various institutions. This initiative carried out during the vibrant Patla Sambhrama, aims to support and encourage the educational pursuits of these young minds, ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive academically.

A notable aspect of the Foundation’s commitment to academic excellence is the Pratibha Award, a special recognition bestowed upon exceptionally gifted students during the Patla Sambhrama. This prestigious award is designed to honour and celebrate students who have achieved outstanding academic performance, scoring above ninety per cent. In addition to the recognition, these high-achieving students are presented with a special cash award, further motivating and acknowledging their dedication to scholastic success.

Through these initiatives, the Patla Foundation not only fosters a culture of education within the Yakshagana community but also actively recognizes and rewards academic excellence, empowering the next generation to aspire for greatness in both the artistic and academic realms.
