ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಬಯಲಾಟ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾವಂಜೆ ಮೇಳದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು – ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಭಾಗವತರಾದ ಯಕ್ಷಧ್ರುವ ಪಟ್ಲ ಸತೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಸುಬ್ರಾಯ ಹೊಳ್ಳ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು, ಅಕ್ಷಯಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಾರ್ನಾಡ್ ಇವರನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರು, ವಕೀಲರ ಸಂಘದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಸಂಘಟಕರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಯಕ್ಷಮಿತ್ರರು ಅಸೈಗೋಳಿ ಇದರ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಸೈಗೋಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಪಾವಂಜೆ ಮೇಳದ ಐದನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಪಟ್ಲ ಸತೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ದಿವಾಣ ಶಿವಶಂಕರಭಟ್, ಸುಭ್ರಾಯ ಹೊಳ್ಳ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು, ಮಾಧವ ಬಂಗೇರ ಕೊಳತ್ತಮಜಲು, ರಘು ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಾಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸೈಗೋಳಿಯ ಉದಯ ಭಟ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿ ಸಮ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

All the Yakshagana shows of Kateel, Mandarthi, Dharmasthala, Saligrama, Perdoor, Sunkadakatte, Sasihithlu, Hosanagara, Hiriyadka, Saukooru, Madamakki, Haladi and other Yakshagana Melas have been suspended temporarily as a precautionary measure to check the outbreak of Covid-19.

Art lovers of Boston area witnessed a rare display of ‘Yakshagana’, one of coastal Karnataka’s rich and colourful art forms, at the Tyngsborough Town Hall near Boston on August 31, 2019. The event was organized by the New England Tulu Koota (NETK) Boston, USA, which highlighted performances by the preeminent Yakshagana artiste Patla Sathish Shetty of the Yaksha Dhruva Patla Foundation, Mangaluru and his team. The charitable foundation based In Karnataka along with its newly inaugurated unit in the USA endeavours to popularize the art form while providing financial support to needy Yakshagana artistes and their families.
